EMDR Intensives
Why choose an intensive?
Sometimes weekly therapy isn’t enough. EMDR intensives offer extended sessions over a shorter period of time, allowing you to process more deeply and move forward more quickly. This focused approach helps reduce the impact of trauma, anxiety, grief, and other painful experiences, without the long wait between traditional sessions.
Who are intensives for?
EMDR intensives may be a good fit if you:
- Feel stuck in regular talk therapy.
- Want focused help with specific memories or patterns.
- Prefer to make progress in days or weeks instead of months.
- Need concentrated support during a transition, loss, or life stressor.
What to expect:
Intensives are tailored to your needs and may include:
- A pre-intensive consultation to set goals and ensure readiness.
- Extended EMDR sessions (half-day, full-day, or multi-day options).
- Built-in grounding and integration practices to help you feel stable.
- Follow-up support after the intensive to maintain your progress.

Walk & Talk Therapy
Why choose Walk & Talk?
Therapy doesn’t always have to happen sitting in an office. Walk & Talk sessions take place outdoors, combining the benefits of movement, nature, and fresh air with the support of therapy. Many clients find it easier to open up while walking side by side, and the natural setting can help reduce stress, boost mood, and create space for new perspectives.
Who is it for?
Walk & Talk Therapy may be a great fit if you:
- Feel more comfortable talking while moving rather than sitting face-to-face.
- Want the added benefit of physical activity alongside emotional healing.
- Enjoy being in nature and find it calming or grounding.
- Are looking for a different, more holistic approach to therapy.
What to expect:
- Sessions take place outdoors on accessible, safe walking routes.
- The pace is always set by you — it’s about comfort, not exercise intensity.
- We’ll combine traditional therapy techniques with the grounding effects of nature.
- Confidentiality and your privacy are always respected.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
It’s so natural to wonder if therapy is the right step. Many people reach out when they’re feeling stressed, unsure, or just need a safe place to talk. You don’t have to have everything sorted out before beginning. Therapy can be a space to slow down, share what’s on your mind, and discover what feels right for you. If you’d like to explore whether it’s a good fit, I offer a free 15- minute consultation so you can get a feel for the process before starting.
What types of therapy you offer?
I support both adult individuals and couples, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet each person’s unique needs. My training includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, Parts Work, Attachment- based Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. These approaches offer different ways of understanding and working through challenges, whether you’re aiming to improve relationships, manage emotions, or explore deeper patterns and meaning in your life.
In addition to talk therapy, I offer Walk-and-Talk sessions for those who prefer movement in nature, as well as EMDR intensives for clients seeking deeper trauma-focused work. My goal is to tailor therapy to your unique needs so you can feel supported in a way that fits you best.
Do you offer therapy in-person, online, or by phone?
Yes. I offer in-person sessions in Windsor, ON, as well as secure virtual therapy for clients across Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Phone sessions are also available if that feels most comfortable. This flexibility allows you to choose the method of support that best fits your lifestyle and needs.
What can I expect during my first therapy session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a safe, supportive relationship. We’ll spend time talking about what led you here and what you hope to get out of therapy, at a pace that feels right for you. I may ask some questions to get a better sense of your background and current concerns, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. This is simply a starting point.
Together, we’ll begin to shape a direction for our work, whether that’s exploring relationships, navigating difficult emotions, or working through past experiences. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, and with a sense of clarity about what our work together could look like.
How much does a therapy session cost?
Individual therapy sessions are $140 for 50 minutes, and couples sessions are $230 for 80 minutes. If you’re interested in EMDR intensives, Walk-and-Talk sessions, or other specialized services, please reach out and I’ll be glad to share more details. I know that investing in therapy is an important decision, and I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about fees or insurance coverage so you can feel comfortable moving forward.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed! You’re welcome to reach out directly whenever you feel ready. Many connect with me on their own, while others are encouraged by a doctor, friend, or loved one. However you arrive, you don’t need anyone’s permission to begin. I also offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions and get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy is private and treated with care. I follow the ethical standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), which means your sessions are confidential. There are only a few rare exceptions where I may be required by law to share information, such as if someone’s safety is at risk, and I’ll always explain those clearly before we begin. My priority is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable opening up, knowing that your story will be respected and held in confidence.
